National Parks

  • Yellowstone National Park (YPN) is American's first national park! From Bozeman, the northwest entrance through Gardiner, Montana is a quick 78 mile journey through the appropriately named Paradise Valley. Being the original entrance to the park, visitors can walk to the famous Roosevelt Archway, the original gateway into the park. Heading directly south from Bozeman, the west entrance is 89 miles through the Gallatin Canyon to West Yellowstone. With over one million visitors annually, YNP is a world of its own featuring thermal hot springs, geysers, and a stunning landscape you have to see it in person to understand. Plentiful with all American-west animals, it is a family-friendly experience of a lifetime that happens to be in our backyard.
  • Glacier National Park (GNP) will leave you breathless! About a five hour drive north from Bozeman, GNP was home to over 100 glaciers when it was established in 1910.
